Can you play Skull and Bones offline?

Unfortunately, no, you cannot play Skull and Bones offline. Ubisoft has confirmed their game is an online-only experience which means you need to have an internet connection all the time while playing Skull and Bones.

You join an online server while playing the game and then only you’ll be able to go on your journey as a pirate. This news can be a bummer for those with limited data or an unstable internet connection.

However, Skull and Bones being an MMORPG title, an online-only experience makes sense and the lack of an offline mode will stir criticism from the community. The good news is that the game features full crossplay support between PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Amazon Luna.
