Epic Games Confirms That Playground LTM is Available to Play on All Servers in Fortnite

Epic Games has officially confirmed the return of the new Playground Limited Time Mode in Fortnite.

The mode was fully reinstated into the game late in the day on July 2nd, and players across all servers now have access.

The news was announced via a post on FortniteBR Reddit page, along with a tweet from Fortnite.

Playground LTM – Available Now!
Success! We’ve completed deploying our servers containing the improved matchmaking changes. All players can now join in on the fun in the Playground LTM.
Please remember to change your region back to “auto select” and verify you’re on your preferred region. There is the possibility that you may encounter an error, as many players are attempting to join this game mode. Just attempt to requeue until you find a match.
We’ll be releasing an in-depth and detailed postmortem in the near future to go over the obstacles that we encountered during the process of trying to enable this Limited Time Mode. But for now, drop in and let your imaginations run wild!

The confirmation that the LTM was back online actually came close to two hours after it had already been enabled in-game.

Earlier on July 2nd, players connected to Asian, Oceanic, and Brazilian servers began reporting that they were able to load into the mode. This was later followed by reports that the mode was available across all servers, despite still no official word from Epic.

Many in the game’s vast player-base will be thrilled and relieved to see the Playgrounds LTM reinstated into the game after its lengthy delay.

It was briefly released as part of the v4.5 game update on June 27th but got disabled nearly two hours later, remaining that way until July 2nd.

The LTM was highly anticipated because it offers players the chance to play alongside their friends and do whatever they like in a private, low-pressure environment with the full Fortnite map at their disposal.

We will keep you updated on the developments when Epic provides a full breakdown of what caused the downtime to be extended for so long.
