Ninja and Friends Recreate Iconic Movie Scene by Using Tommy Guns to Secure a Victory Royale

While playing Fortnite Squads, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and his friends picked up Tommy Guns and saw the perfect opportunity to recreate a classic cinematic moment.

The Tommy Gun, known as the Drum Gun in Fortnite, has featured in a number of gangster movies through the years.

Actually, it was a fake classic cinematic moment that Ninja recreated. He imitated the fake gangster movie that was watched by the main character in the 1990 film Home Alone.

Angels With Filthy Souls was a film noir parody set inside the universe of Home Alone, where a gangster shoots a Tommy Gun before saying the famous line, “Keep the change ya filthy animal.”

Although Angels With Filthy Souls only exists as an under two minute clip and was made exclusively to be shown in Home Alone, it was heavily inspired by old gangster films. 

It even takes its name from one, a 1931 James Cagney and Humphrey Bogart movie called Angels With Dirty Faces.

The Drum Gun was released on July 3rd after speculation and leaks revealed the weapon was on its way.

Because the Drum Gun is a 1920’s inspired weapon, Fortnite fans think the gun is hinting at a time travel theme for Season 5. The mysterious portals appearing around the map are also contributing to that theory.

The bright, colorful world of Fortnite has no comparison to the black and white noir of Angels With Filthy Souls, but we think Ninja did a great job with the imitation.
