The tournament organizer and the renowned WoW esports organization are combining forces to bring a Race to World First event to American soil, live from the Sin City at the end of August.

The World Showdown of Esports and Method.gg are partnering to produce the Classic Race to World First (RWF) for World of Warcraft Classic, according to a press release sent out the morning of August 20th.

The event will take place across a whole week, from August 26th to September 2nd, live from the PokerGO Studio (ARIA Resort and Casino) in Las Vegas, NV.

The Classic RWF will be streamed live on both the Method and WSOE Twitch channels, and will feature plenty of world-class WoW speed levelers, game experts, and popular WoW streamers.

Fans can follow the 24/7 action with live commentary and casting on the Method channel. WSOE will feature different player perspectives, unique content, and more simultaneously on their channel.

WSOE is produced by Estars Studios, and has hosted recent events for Tekken 7, Soul Calibur VI, and Ring of Elysium. They have also hosted events in Fortnite, PUBG, and Hearthstone.

Method is the premier esports organization when it comes to World of Warcraft. They field the most accomplished raiding guild in WoW history, led by Method founder Scott ‘Sco’ McMillan, who founded the guild in 2005.

This guild has accomplished 12 World First End Boss Kills in their 14 year career, including the most recent one, Eternal Palace, this past July. They also field two world-class WoW Arena teams, and two Wow Mythic Dungeon teams.

Method has hosted numerous RWF events already, with RWF: Uldir this past September, RWP: Dazar’Alor this past February, and the aforementioned RWF: Eternal Palace this past July. By partnering with WSOE, they will be bringing a live RWF event to the United States for the first time, and they’re going all out.

This will be a live 24/7 event that will begin when WoW Classic officially releases at midnight on August 26th.
