YOUTUBE REMOVES PEWDIEPIE DISS TRACK OVER CHILD SAFETY CONCERNS

WHO IS PEWDIEPIE?

PewDiePie is a YouTuber and comedian, known for his Let's Play videos and comedic formatted shows with over 109 million subs.

A LOT OF DRAMA.

In his decade on YouTube, PewDiePie has gotten into some interesting beefs with other channels.

He usually settles the drama with a pretty funny joke, a video, or more recently, a diss track.

WHO WAS IT ABOUT?

This time though, it was aimed at children’s channel Cocomelon - though he did call out rapper 6ix9ine in there too.

NO LONGER AVAILABLE.

On February 19th, fans noted that the song had disappeared from his channel and asked YouTube’s support why this was.

“This video violated two policies: 1) Child safety: by looking like it was made for kids but containing inappropriate content. 2) Harassment: by inciting harassment @ other creators - we allow criticism but this crossed the line.”

As of writing, PewDiePie hasn’t responded to his song being taken down but he likely will at some point.
