With Valorant Episode 2 Act 1 just about wrapped up, the hype around Act 2 is real. Players won’t need to wait long now, with the new update coming in early March 2021. Here’s what we know.
Valorant Episode 2 Act 1 has given players yet another healthy dose of new content to devour. New Agent Yoru is here, as well as a new battle pass to try and grind.
Just as quickly as it came, Act 1 is now leaving us. Now, all eyes are set on Act 2, which is set to arrive at the start of March. Here’s what we know so far.

When does Valorant Episode 2: Act 2 begin?
It’s likely Riot will have Valorant Episode 2: Act 2 primed for release right as Act 1 ends. There won’t be any days in between leaving players waiting, you can expect to jump into Act 2 come March 2, 2021.

A now-deleted datamine from ‘floxayyy’ from December 2020 seemed to indicate that Act 2 would end on April 27, 2021. The shorter Acts might be indicative of what’s to come in Valorant, with Riot blazing through the Episodes and smashing out the Agent releases.
Valorant Episode 2 Act 2 details: Astra, new battle pass, more
As with every new Valorant Act, a new Agent will be joining the roster. This time, it’s the cosmic controller Astra, hailing from Ghana. She can converge the stars to drop gravity wells, smokes, and other utility across the map.

There’ll also be a new battle pass, packed to the brim with new skins, sprays, gun buddies, player cards, and more. It’ll be available for 1,000 VP once the Act launches.

There’s also likely to be a balance patch dropped on the same day as the Act launching. However, details on that are yet to be revealed.
