Naughty Dog have revealed a bunch of new The Last of Us Part 2 content for the run-up to the game’s release, including an Ellie special edition and how fans can get hands-on before launch.
There’s absolutely no doubt that the next installment of the video game franchise is one of the most highly anticipated in 2020, with developers working towards a May 29 release date.
While fans had to wait a long time for launch details to be made available, not to mention a delay that saw the launch window pushed back a few months, more information has been revealed, and it’s looking amazing.
How to play The Last of Us Part 2 early
Fans of the game will be able to try an exclusive hands-on demo at PAX East 2020. The game returns to its iconic starting point of Boston, where not only the in-game story began, but also the first-ever demo was unveiled back in 2013.
PAX East attendees will have a chance to play the newest version of the game from February 27 – March 1, when an hour of content will be available for anyone visiting the Naughty Dog booth.
However, the American company has highlighted that there is limited space. So if you want to ensure you get a chance to try out TLOU 2 early, you should book a spot through Experience PlayStation mobile app.
How to get The Last of Us 2 Ellie Edition
The fan-favorite ‘Ellie Edition’ of The Last of Us Part 2 quickly sold out in September and many have been asking Naughty Dog for a chance to purchase the special edition of the game.

Of course, this will be well worth the price for many fans as it features a replica of Ellie’s backpack, an Ellie figurine, special soundtracks, art, pins, and more collectible goodies.
