An incredible Smash Bros concept featuring Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy 7 makes a great case for the Avalanche member to be the next DLC character added to the popular fighting game.

Since the recent release of Final Fantasy 7’s Remake on April 10, many fans have had the chance to relive some of the action from the classic Playstation title that was released in 1997.

The nostalgic game has inspired many hardcore fans to recreate some of their favorite characters, however, one artist, keiththehuman, decided to put a unique twist on his portrayal of Tifa Lockhart.

Tifa Lockhart is one of the fan-favorites from the Final Fantasy franchise for her role alongside Cloud Strife, who is already a playable character in Smash Bros Ultimate, during FF7’s Remake.

Known for her brutal punching techniques and rapid-fire combos, designer keiththehuman figured that it was only right to reimagine the popular character inside of the Smash Bros universe.

He revealed an incredible character model render of what Tifa could look like as a DLC character for Super Smash Bros Ultimate which was met with a lot of support from fans of both titles.

Once the idea had started to pick up some steam, Keith shared some suggestions for Masahiro Sakurai, creator of the Super Smash Bros. series to consider, in regards to the other characters from FF7.

“If I were Sakurai, and I had the opportunity to maximize this collaboration, the 100% correct choice, despite how I personally feel, would have Aerith as the main challenger.” he explained.

He continued on, sharing that Tifa, Barret, and Sephiroth should also be included to fill up the roles of Brawler, Gunner, and Swordfighter respectively.

Although we have no idea whether or not the suggestion would be considered, it has certainly hyped up many fans of the popular fighting game with the possibility.
