During Day One of Smash Ultimate Summit 2, legendary Peach player Ezra ‘Samsora’ Morris showed up in an incredible cosplay based on his main.

The 21-year-old eUnited player posted his crossplay to Twitter with the caption “A new princess in town,” and credited cosplayer and model Annjelife for doing his makeup.

Along with the dress, shoes and nylons, Samsora or “Samantha” also came equipped with accessories including a crown, and umbrella to amplify the character. After all, the star player knows Peach inside and out.

The Shine 2019 champion didn’t just wear the outfit for fun either, because he also performed at Smash Summit’s “Talent Show” where numerous pros showed off bizarre talents to great comedic effect. For Samora, he performed a catwalk and even included some taunts the fighter does in-game as part of his act.

Unfortunately, the performance ended a bit too earlier for some of the judges leaving them wanting more after Samsora walked off stage. That didn’t hurt his score though, as commentator Zak ‘Coney’ Zeeks had quite the comment about Samsora’s show.

“I was enthralled and enchanted, and there’s a reason I have a pillow on my lap right now,” he joked. “That’s a ten out of ten for me.”

While Samsora may have impressed, Twitch chat ultimately voted Samuel ‘Dabuz’ Buzby the winner of the competition for his juggling “skills”.

Additionally, it doesn’t seem like Samsora has any intent to bring the Samantha personality back for another run. In a tweet, the Peach God seemed to fatally self-destruct his alter ego and wrote “RIP 2019-2019.”

It may be for the best, however, as trying to be both the world’s best Peach player and cosplayer could be a difficult task. The Smash pro has been rising in the ranks due to his impressive results at tournaments.

Most notably, at Shine, the Peach icon shocked the world by defeating the world’s best player overall Leonardo ‘MKLeo’ Lopez Perez who was coming off wins at EVO and Super Smash Con.

It will be fun to see how Samsora performs at the all-star stacked Ultimate Summit competition running from October 24 – October 27.
