The highly-anticipated online component of Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to start rolling out this week and players now have an early look at some of the achievements Red Dead Online will have and what to expect from the experience.

Red Dead fans have been eagerly anticipating any news of the online mode for the popular western title since its announcement, so the November 26 update of a release window came as a welcomed surprise. But it looks like there are players who are already combing through Red Dead’s shared open-world.

Taking from the snippets of information attached to the achievements, Read Dead Online will be bringing mechanics from the main game to the online installment. However, with a new mode comes new elements as well.

Achievement list so far

  • Getting Started: You reached Rank 10.
  • Breakout: You completed the intro.
  • Series Major: You took part in a Series.
  • Gun for Hire: You played 10 Free Roam missions.
  • Posse Up: You formed a Persistent Posse.
  • Master Craftsman: You crafted 20 items (excluding ammo)
  • Butchered: You sold 20 items to the Butcher.
  • Picked to Perfection: You picked 25 herbs.
  • Strength in Numbers: You completed a Free Roam mission as part of a Posse with at least 2 members.

In conjunction with Rockstar’s announcement today, players will recognize “Posse Up” and “Strength in Numbers” as feats to overcome with friends. Others are more obscure such as “Series Major’ which tasks players to participate in a ‘series.’

Although it is still unclear what that means but since it is unique to Red Dead Online, it will probably require some form of cooperation with other players to complete.

The leak has a list of eight achievements, most of which introduce something new for online outlaws to look forward to.

As some completionists might know, Red Dead Redemption 2 launched with 51 achievements. so this small list shouldn’t be expected to be the complete lineup of accomplishments to complete.

Rockstar acknowledges that this week’s release will go far “to deal with the inevitable turbulence of launching any online experience of this size and scale.” Read Dead Online will be available to some starting Tuesday, November 27 and at full steam by Friday, November 30.

Red Ded Redemption cosplayers become real-life Arthur & Sadie Adler

Two incredible gaming cosplayers came together to create their own versions of Red Dead Redemption’s Arthur and Sadie Adler — and the photos look like they’re straight out of the game.

The first Red Dead Redemption game came out in 2010 and immediately earned mass appeal, with the 2018 prequel keeping the franchise alive and fans flocking to the servers of the Western adventure game.

As with every popular game, film or TV show, though, fans have all different ways of honoring their favorites, and cosplayers are no exception.

Arthur and Sadie are a favorite of Red Dead fans.

We’ve seen some incredible cosplays in our time, but this one is really something special, with ‘maul_cosplay‘ creating his flawless take on protagonist Arthur Morgan.

That’s not all, though, as he also recruited female cosplayer ‘msskunk’ as Sadie, bringing the fan-favorite couple to life.

“RDR2 is my absolute favorite game and I think Arthur and Sadie should spend more time together,” maul said in his Instagram post. “That’s what the photos are about. Arthur and Sadie enjoying life and spending some quality time together.”

Arthur and Sadie’s relationship was an important one in Red Dead Redemption, and it would have been interesting to see their story developed further, and fans are definitely interested in seeing what occurs between the two — and the cosplay really showcases that. Not to mention, the outfits and setting are literally spot-on, and it’s almost impossible to find any difference between this and the characters themselves.

Both the photos and the cosplays themselves came out looking incredible, as if the characters were lifted right out of the game. Heck, you wouldn’t be laughed at for mistaking this for game art rather than just a photo of two cosplayers paying homage.

This isn’t the first of maul’s cosplays to make waves, with some brilliant looks taken from the likes of Assassin’s Creed and Borderlands 3’s Zane.

If you’re looking for great gaming cosplays, maul and msskunk might be one of the best places to look, since their attention to detail is sublime.
