Parasite Praises Realm Royale Gameplay and Skill Comparing it to Fortnite

Professional Call of Duty player Christopher ‘Parasite’ Duarte has taken to Twitter to praise the mechanics of new battle royale game Realm Royale.

Realm Royale started as a game mode in the hero shooter Paladins, before launching as a standalone title on Steam Early Access on June 5th.

A Twitter user derided Realm Royale’s viewership numbers on Twitch, which caused YouTuber Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem to respond.

KEEMSTAR’s date of July 14th is referencing a $100,000 Realm Royale tournament that he is hosting. Realm Royale will have weekly tournaments, similar to the Friday Fortnite ones he is involved with.

Parasite noticed KEEMSTAR’s tweet and questioned why some people are criticizing the game.

He claims that Realm Royale is fun and unique, with solid gunplay that can be mastered over time.

Obviously Parasite is oversimplifying Fortnite with claims that it is “just building,” however the actual gunplay is usually not listed as Fortnite’s strong suit.

Although the wildly popular Fortnite still has millions of building enthusiasts, it is easy to see why a professional Call of Duty player is looking for something more gun focused.

Parasite also claims Realm Royale discourages camping – the bane of a Call of Duty player’s existence.

KEEMSTAR took note of Parasite’s affection for Realm, asking him if he wanted to participate in the tournament on July 14th, but the pro CoD player will be busy with his other game.

With Call of Duty Champs rapidly approaching, Parasite will not have much free time for Realm Royale, but he might make some appearances in KEEMSTAR’s tournaments over the summer – before the launch of Black Ops 4.
