Dr Disrespect explains why nobody is playing ‘terrible’ PUBG anymore

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds went down a lot worse than he might have imagined, sparking an angered rant where he suggested the only people playing the pioneering battle royale game right now are from South Korea.

The streamer, who has voiced his concerns about a lack of content on rival battle royale game Apex Legends of late, decided to give PUBG another try on March 20 as part of his regular ‘Triple Threat Challenge’.

Looking for solo wins in PUBG, Fortnite and Apex Legends to complete the task, it soon became clear that the first stumbling block proved too much for the streamer to handle.

After Dr Disrespect had fought his way back into the zone on Sanhok, as seen in the clip above, he was shot at by a hidden foe. He glanced around and eventually found the enemy camping, crouched behind a nearby tree, before taking them out – only to be sniped from afar moments later.

It’s fair to say that all of these hiding tactics didn’t go down too well with the Two-Time, sparking an anger fuelled rant at the game.

“This game is designed for a bunch of pussies. It is! It’s terrible,” he said. “It’s a bunch of ‘crouching, hiding in the bushes, looking out at long range waiting for your one shot’ pussies. That’s why nobody is playing it – except people that are in South Korea.”

The Doc took a major issue with how players are rewarded for sitting and waiting in PUBG, instead of taking the initiative by engaging in ‘legitimate’ gunfights – he says.

“Not once have I died in a 1-on-1 fight. I haven’t,” he explained. “It’s been from behind, from the left, from desperation, from chubby cheeks. It’s fucking terrible, this game is fucking terrible.”

His search for the next solo win in PUBG continues, but it’s uncertain if he’ll go against his better judgement and continue playing the game in the future. Clearly, he doesn’t like how people are playing it.
