Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel made his feelings very clear when asked whether he would recommend Overwatch in its current state.

During a recent stream, xQc received a question from one of his viewers, who stated that they hadn’t played the game for more than a year, and asked whether xQc would recommend getting back into it.

For xQc it was obviously an easy question to answer, summing up his feelings on the matter with a single, emphatic word.

While xQc didn’t elaborate on his answer to this particular question, he has been vocal in his criticism of various aspects of Overwatch in the past.

xQc has recently criticized several new additions to the game, including Hanzo’s Storm Arrow ability following his rework, the introduction of Brigitte to competitive play, and the option for players to make their profiles hidden.

During one stream, xQc used a clip of League of Legends streamer Tyler1 raging to help illustrate these frustrations. Previous targets of his frustration have been players in ranked who only play DPS, boosters, and tank hero Reinhardt.

xQc isn’t the only prominent Overwatch streamer to express frustrations at the game, with Daniel ‘Dafran’ Francesca taking a break from it in June 2018 after stating that he “hate[s] opening Overwatch right now”.

Blizzard has recently been taking steps to improve the atmosphere in Overwatch games, with social features designed to encourage positive behavior. Many players still take issue with aspects of the game balance, however, although with the most recent PTR patch at last addressing issues with Reinhardt’s Earthshatter, Blizzard is at least beginning to take care of some of the longer-standing complaints.
