Every month the face of Overwatch talks to the community about everything they currently have in development, and topics range from gameplay changes through to skins.

During September’s jam-packed development update, Jeff Kaplan spoke about introducing new color blind options for players, as the previous system didn’t cater for everyone.

“Now we know that color blindness affects people who are color blind in many different ways. So our old system worked for a lot of people who were color blind, but there were many color blind folks that still really struggled with the game and perceiving friendly vs enemy.”

Jeff continued on to say that thanks to the work they did for esports and the Overwatch  League, they’re able to add new color changes to not only the character silhouettes but some of the interfaces.
