Blizzard have once again out-done themselves with the Halloween Terror cosmetics.

With the latest in-game event, Halloween Terror, arriving in Overwatch on October 9, a host of new skins have been introduced.

Nine heroes received brand-new Halloween-themed skins, with Pharah getting “Enchanted Armor”, a new Legendary that offers her an awesome new set of armor with glowing blue effects.

If you look closely, however, you’ll see that the “Enchanted Armor” isn’t actually worn by Pharah at all, instead animated by some unseen force – a detail that becomes apparent when the hero takes off her helmet, revealing the lack of a head.

This is a Legendary skin though, and it seems Blizzard have gone all-in on the concept. The “Enchanted Armor” isn’t just a visual skin – when it dies, the Enchanted Armor collapses into multiple pieces, as there’s nothing physical to hold it together.

This incredible detail was discovered by Overwatch player Redwood and posted to Reddit by u/Peciveer.

Halloween Terror is returning for a third time this year, and it’s always been known for producing particularly spectacular cosmetics. Along with Pharah, five more heroes got spooky Legendary skins – Moira, Sombra, Doomfist, Wrecking Ball, and Soldier: 76 – while Widowmaker, McCree, and Mei received new Epics.

In addition to the new offerings, players will also be able to pick up cosmetics from past Halloween Terrors, which are locked during the rest of the year. This year’s event ends on October 31.
