Overwatch player demonstrates powerful Widowmaker spot on new map Paris
An Overwatch player has identified a powerful trick for Widowmakers on new Assault map Paris.

Paris has been playable on the PTR for less than 24 hours at the time of writing, but players are already beginning to figure out some of its more intricate details, including multiple easter eggs.
Overwatch player AndyGMB, who is known for identifying useful tricks and creative tactics, has also begun to look into elements that could actually help win games, and discovered a powerful position for defending Widowmakers on the first point.
The spot allows Widowmaker to temporarily sit above the first capture point, and gives a powerful line of sight over the street through which the attacking team will most commonly enter.

This grapple location should give skilled Widowmakers an opportunity to find an early kill at the start of the round, or after a full reset, although it may not be ideal once the fighting gets a little more hectic around the point.

It is worth noting that this location could be patched before it reaches the live servers, as many powerful Widowmaker spots have been in the past as “unintended locations”. In the meantime, however, it’s certainly worth being aware of either to utilize as a defending Widowmaker or watch out for as an attacker.
