Thanks to the Overwatch Workshop mode, players are able to bring their own designs into the game, which has led us to getting a full-blown recreation of Call of Duty’s Zombies mode.

For players out there who are growing bored with the traditional version of Overwatch, they could switch over to the Workshop mode and spice things up a bit.

This allows players to experience a variety of other games that might lend themselves nicely to the Overwatch engine.

We’ve seen fans bring games like Super Smash Bros. into the mix in the past, and this latest creation perfectly reinvents Zombies from the Call of Duty franchise.

In a nearly 10-minute video, YouTuber APM guides viewers through what the game will entail, and the early returns are quite impressive.

Curiously, the zombies are played by Brigitte, but we suppose somebody had the play the role, so might as well give it to her.

The same currency system we can currently see in the Call of Duty series makes an appearance here, making it almost a shot-for-shot recreation.

As you earn more money, you’re able to upgrade your weapons to prevent yourself from being overrun by zombie Brigittes. Things can get chaotic, so it’s important to get those upgraded guns in a hurry if you want any chance of surviving.

At first glance, it might seem crazy that something like this can run in Overwatch, but once you see it all in action, you’ll quickly have those concerns put to rest.

It is important to mention that the YouTuber says this is just a demo for right now, so it’s not actually ready for a full release. They explain a new video will be uploaded when it is and the Workshop code will be included.

With how far along everything looks right now, we expect it won’t be much longer until it’s released to the public for everybody to enjoy.
