Overwatch player and Torbjorn fanatic drewhead118 has continued his noble quest of turning every hero in the game into Torbjorn with a new batch of masterpieces.

Torbjörn is definitely an Overwatch fan-favorite, and has inspired plenty of memes in his own right in the community.

Drewhead started his crusade to “improve” Overwatch heroes by merging them with Torbjörn back in March and now they’re back with three new brilliant creations.

“I tried to imagine what game we might be playing if Blizzard applied the same inspiration they had with Torbjörn to the full roster of NTC’s (non-Torbjörn characters).” drewhead wrote. “That’s how we arrived to this critical moment in history here today.”

Doomclaw

drewhead118One punch is all Torb needs.

The mixture of Torbjorn and Doomfist is “the bane of all turrets” according to drewhead and is Doomfist’s head, fist and other arm on Torb’s body, which is both hilarious and intriguing at the same time.

Come to think of it, Doomfist doesn’t have any skins that give him a beard, which just goes to show how forward-thinking and ambitious this project really is.

Meibjörn

drewhead118I’m going to have the Torbjörn the heck out of this.

Not only does Mei get a flowing beard upgrade, but so does her faithful companion Snowball. This mashup also brings to mind when Torbjorn was put into Mei’s Honeydew Anniversary skin.

“The ice scientist who developed a brilliant means of keeping her face warm,” is how drewhead describes Meibjorn, which works just fine.

Björna

drewhead118Björna knows best.

“I’d like to introduce you all to Bjorna, an Egyptian-Swedish support class with a rifle that both builds and destroys,” drewhead said about his creation. “Watch out for her dangerous Swedish boost… it can turn any facial peach fuzz into glorious twin beard in a heartbeat!”

Bjorna, for some reason, may be the most hilarious out of the three new Torbjorn’s but It’s hard to say if she’s the best out of all of them, luckily though drewhead has given us plenty of material to work with when making our decision.

Overwatch players freak out at Baptiste’s huge new Amplification Matrix

Baptiste was the recipient of plenty of buffs in the latest Overwatch Experimental Card, including a major change to the size of his Amplification Matrix that is freaking out the game’s community.

The October 22 patch increased the width of the Haitian hero’s ultimate by a whopping four meters – up to nine from its previous five.

Now, Baptiste’s “window” as the community calls it, looks more like a garage door bigger than any shield in the game by a fair margin.

Keep in mind that the whole purpose of the Amplification Matrix is to double the damage or healing of any shot fired through it. Now, it’s extremely unlikely that teammates will ever have a reason to not shoot through the ultimate as it’s near impossible to miss.

The community has been joking about the size increase. On Reddit, LukarWarrior joked, “Baptiste, now available in IMAX,” suggesting that it’s not as big as a movie theater screen.

Others, such as educational content creator SVB noted how the ultimate is wider than the streets on King’s Row.

That said, it has plenty of uses on other maps where its entire width can be put to good use. BlazeBubble9 documented how there are so many chokes where the new window can come in handy.

Baptiste’s new Amp Matrix can come in handy on Numbani.

For instance, while defending or attacking first point on Numbani, the new ultimate can take up a whole spot on the high ground letting a whole team fire at will onto the objective doing double damage.

In another, you can see how trying to gain or prevent access to the bridge on Eichenwalde second is a breeze with the new ultimate as it perfectly fits within the choke.

Pushing into Eichenwalde just got a bit easier.

Of course, because the change is on the Experimental Mode there’s a chance it doesn’t hit the live game, but in the past many of the buffs tested there end up going through, so players should prepare regardless.

Only time will tell if this ultimate buff changes how often players decide to pick the support in their matches.
