Formerly a Support player for London Spitfire, HaGoPeun was one of four players the Spitfire let go when they dramatically reduced their roster for Stage 4 of Season One.

With the Overwatch League signing window having closed at that time, HaGoPeun found his new place competing with Mayhem Academy in Contenders NA. The team ultimately finished 5-8
in Contenders Season Two. He has now been moved up to the Mayhem Overwatch League roster

Following an underwhelming first season of the Overwatch League, in which they finished 11
as the clear second-weakest team behind the winless Shanghai Dragons, Florida Mayhem is undergoing a major rework to their roster for Season Two of the league.

Only three players of the Season One roster remain: DPS players Kevyn ‘TviQ’ Lindström and Ha ‘Sayaplayer’ Jeong-woo, and main tank Kim ‘aWesomeGuy’ Sung-hoon. In addition, Florida Mayhem have signed Flex tank Koo ‘xepheR’ Jae-mo from the Seoul Dynasty.

Though the changes made to the Florida roster suggest the possibility of an all-Korean starting line-up for Season Two, Mayhem CEO Ben Spoont has stated that they do not intend to run an all-Korean team and they will “100%” be signing more western players.

With the minimum roster size for Season Two being eight players, the Mayhem will have to make at least three more additions by December 8. The current exclusive free agent signing window for expansion teams ends on October 7, after which Florida will be able to sign free agents.
