Fans turn Overwatch highlight intros into a Lego masterpiece

Some talented Overwatch fans have turned some heroes' highlight intros into Lego, even going so far as to stop-motion animate them - and they look great.

Overwatch’s Anniversary 2019 event is well under way, bringing a whole host of new character unlocks with it as well as giving players access to ones from all previous events.

Video game fan site Fanbyte has found an imaginative way to celebrate Overwatch’s third anniversary by creating a set of hero highlight intros using figures from the Overwatch Lego sets.

Tracer, Soldier 76, McCree, D.Va, Genji, and Widowmaker all received the Lego treatment, showing off some of their best highlights with some beautiful stop-motion animation, making us all want to go out and buy some for ourselves.

How Fanbyte could have that much dedication and patience is unknown, but the end result has truly paid off and it shows the much loved heroes in an entirely new light.

Overwatch finally got Replays back

Along with the ongoing Anniversary event, the May 23 PTR update finally put the Replay feature back into the game after Blizzard removed the short-lived feature back in 2018.

It was first seen in the game during the World Cup event and players absolutely loved it, so you can imagine their dismay when it was pulled for no apparent reason.

Overwatch's Replay feature has finally returned.

The feature is finally back though, meaning players can now watch their matches back from any perspective, and they can also slow replays down or speed them up for maximum effect.

Currently, Replay is only available on the PTR for PC, meaning console players will have to wait a little bit longer before they can post their impressive highlights to Reddit.
