One of the most popular streamers in Overwatch, Dafran is due to make his return to professional play with the Atlanta Reign in Season Two of the Overwatch League.

A somewhat controversial player at times in his career, Dafran’s path to the OWL certainly hasn’t been a straight line. After retiring following a competitive suspension in 2017, Dafran originally claimed he had no interest in returning to professional play.

As a result, he was able to convince many fans that rumors of his joining Atlanta were unfounded, right up until the moment that his addition to the team was officially revealed.

The drama hasn’t stopped since joining the Reign, however. Before even playing a single official match for the team, Dafran briefly announced that he was quiting Overwatch entirely, before later retracting the statement.

More recently, Dafran has returned to streaming after a short break, and has been quick to show off the skills that helped him earn a spot in the Overwatch League.

Dafran is particularly known for his Soldier: 76 play, and although he hasn’t often been at the forefront of the competitive meta, Dafran demonstrated what the hero is capable of in the right hands.

Playing on the defensive side of Horizon Lunar Colony, Dafran showed off almost flawless tracking as the enemy assaulted the first point, barely missing a single bullet as he nearly single-handedly eliminated the majority of the opposing team.
