D.Va poses in Overwatch Black Cat skin

A talented Overwatch cosplayer showed off her take on Korean tank hero D.Va, and showed exactly why Black Cat is one of the game’s best skins.

D.Va was awarded with her Black Cat skin in January 2018 as part of a major cosmetics update for the hero shooter, and almost instantly, people fell head over heels in love with it.

Players have even created outfits based off of the costume, which cosplayer Renata Melo did, sharing her incredibly charming take on the popular cosmetic.

Black Cat D.Va comes to life

In the tank’s outfit, she wears a black lace gothic-Lolita influenced dress similar to that of a Korean maid costume, with full-length black tights and similarly colored shoes.

The Brazilian nails every single aspect perfectly, and included every intricate feature of the dress, including the white pearl and pink ribbon detailing around her waist.

She even paired it up with similar ribbons around her wrists, and replicated the character’s necklace choker with a matching one too.

Another shot shares a closer look at the cosplayer’s hair and makeup, which again mimics the Korean’s with incredible accuracy.

She even included her cat ears headband and added more pink ribbons to the side of her head to tie the whole look together perfectly.

Her bold eyelashes and simple makeup also complement the hero, and gives her a flushed, fresh-faced appearance that just completes the outfit flawlessly.

Renata’s work is clearly a big hit with fans as she currently boasts over 20,400 followers on her Instagram page at this time of writing. She has been dressing up as various characters since 2011, and is dedicated to the world of cosplay.

Not only does the Brazilian create costumes from Overwatch, she’s also designed ones for other games such as League of Legends, Final Fantasy VII, and Tekken 7.
