World Gaming Canadian Championships 2018 CoD: WWII Tournament - Final Placements

The $60,000 CAD tournament attracted some of the top Call of Duty talents in North America compete in the likely the highest profile non-CWL event for Call of Duty: WWII. The World Gaming Canadian Championships 2018 saw eight North American teams compete through a double elimination group stage, followed by single elimination playoff bracket to decide the winner.

In comparison to the 2017 event, a host of high profile teams from the US have been invited, including CWL Pro League team eUnited who will go in as the hot favorites. The event will also be the last schedule casting appearance for fan favorite caster Jack "CouRage" Dunlop. Alongside the eight-team tournament, there was also a show match between CWL Pro League teams FaZe Clan and Luminosity Gaming, although it's unclear why they aren't competing as part of the main tournament.

GGEA Orange take the victory!

GGEA Orange prevented the reverse sweep from eUnited in the grand final to take first place, an netting a cool $25,000 CAD, with a 6-3 win in the final Search & Destroy. x eUnited of course took second place, while Complexity and Gone Gaming finished in the 3rd and 4th spots. The event will have been good practice for the teams ahead of  CWL Atlanta next week.
