French teams have notoriously struggled to compete at the top level of the Call of Duty world. Can this new Team Vitality lineup change that?
The first Vitality CoD team competed during Black Ops II and featured various iterations of players throughout the years, including enlisting the help of UK players such as Tom 'Tommey' Trewren and Dylan 'Madcat' Daly to compete alongside the likes of Corentin 'Gotaga' Houssein and Kevin 'BroKeN' Georges.
During the Infinite Warfare season they ended up just having one Frenchman in the lineup, with most of the players hailing from the UK. Heading into Call of Duty WWII, that's all set to change.
Sticking with the lineup will is the highly talented Wailers 'Wailers' Locart, who was the lone French presence during the latter half of IW.
He'll be joined by former Supremacy player Eddy 'Malls' Maillard and former eRa Eternity player Arthur 'Zayrox' Chabas. Finishing off the team is one of France's most popular retired players, Clément 'RiskiN' Hattée.
The new squad was announced during a showmatch at Paris Games Week, showcasing Sledgehammer's new Call of Duty WWII title. The new season kicks off on November 3rd as teams across the globe begin fighting for a spot in the CWL Pro League.

"I am very happy to be part of the Vitality adventure again. It is a structure that I hold close to my heart and we will do everything we can to best represent France at our upcoming events."
