Team Kaliber CoD and Their Reaction to Their CWL Atlanta Performance

After a disappointing end to CWL Atlanta, the Team Kaliber Call of Duty team took to Twitter to review their performance. The North America squad were one of the favorites going into the $200,000 event, having won both CWL Dallas and CWL New Orleans at the beginning of the Call of Duty: WWII season.

Sadly, the back-to-back champions couldn't achieve the 'three-peat,' as they were knocked into the Losers Bracket by Team EnvyUs, where they won their first game against Echo Fox, before being taken down and eliminated by Red Reserve. Despite the team's final 7th/8th place, the players seem to have taken some positives away from their performance over the weekend.

Captain Dylan 'Theory' McGee thanked everyone who came out to support Team Kaliber and apologized for the disappointing result but said the squad would be back on form for CWL Birmingham, which takes place from March 30th to April 1st at the NEC in Birmingham, UK. x Though obviously frustrated with their final placing, Lamar 'Accuracy' Abedi said the team would learn from their mistakes and he's already looking forward to competing at CWL Birmingham. x While Martin 'Chino' Chino found positives in his own performance, saying he felt his practice in the run-up to the event had significantly improved his shot. Like his teammates, it looks like he's raring to go for CWL Birmingham. x Kenny 'Kenny' Williams said the tournament was a wake up call, but also showed his squad some love, saying he felt they'd played better as a team this event than previous events. x With Team Kaliber choosing to learn from their loss and turn the weekend into a positive, could we see them back on top at CWL Birmingham next month? x
