The San Francisco Shock have officially confirmed the addition of Grant ‘Moth’ Espe and Park ‘Architect’ Min-ho to their Overwatch League squad.
Moth was previously competing for the Boston Uprising academy team, Toronto Esports, in Overwatch Contenders NA, while Architect was last seen in action for X6-Gaming in the Nexus Cup Annual Finals in 2017, which the team won.
The new additions were previously reported by Rod ‘Slasher’ Breslau, who also reported that Architect’s X6-Gaming team mate Choi ‘ChoiHyoBin’ Hyo-Bin had signed with the Shock as well. San Francisco has yet to make any announcement regarding ChoiHyoBin, however.
The official announcement also highlights the approaching eligibility of young stars Jay ‘Sinatraa’ Won and Matthew ‘Super’ DeLisi. Both were seventeen at the start of the Overwatch League, but will come of age on March 18th and 28th respectively.

The San Francisco Shock recently announced that Sinatraa would make his debut on March 22nd against Boston Uprising. Super will not be eligible until Stage 3, which begins on April 4th, while no details have been given as to exactly when new additions Moth and Architect will first compete for the team.
The San Francisco Shock currently sit in ninth place, having had a fairly lackluster season so far. The new additions will enable the team to make a significant overhaul to their starting roster if they so choose, but there is little room for error going forward if they hope to challenge for a playoff spot.
