Red Reserve has had their Cinderella Story come to an end at CWL New Orleans after a dominating Loser Bracket run.
Coming off of a 9th-12th finish at CWL Dallas to kick off the Call of Duty: WWII competitive season, Red Reserve entered the CWL New Orleans Open as the second-ranked European team in the world in terms of the CWL Pro Point standings.
They would be placed into Pool C alongside Luminosity Gaming, Rise Nation, Enigma6, and Open Bracket team GGEA Orange, however, a 2-2 series count in Group play landed them just outside a Championship Bracket qualification.
Yet, being sent to the Lower Bracket did not seem to phase the EU powerhouse in the slightest, with the team steamrolling through lineups such as Mindfreak, OpTic Gaming, FaZe Clan, and eUnited in their quest for a Championship berth.
However, even while playing at an incredibly high level for multiple matches in a row by only dropping one map in four rounds, the squad would ultimately go neck-and-neck against Rise Nation in the Losers Semi-Finals.

The two teams found themselves heading into a game 5 in order to decide who will go up against Luminosity for a chance to qualify for the Grand Finals, although, even after a phenomenal run, Red Reserve dropped the map 6-4, ending their CWL New Orleans journey with a top-4 placing.
Red Reserve has qualified for Stage One the CWL Pro League as one of five European teams, which is set to take place between January 23rd and March 22nd.
