Playoff Bracket Opening Fixtures Confirmed at Call of Duty Championship 2017

The conclusion of day two of Call of Duty Championship 2017 — including a thrilling three-way Round Robin — confirms the playoff bracket for the remaining 3 days. 32 teams have been whittled down to 16, with North America, Europe being represented by 11 and 4 teams respectively, while APAC stays alive with one in the form of Mindfreak Black — albeit starting with only three to begin with. eUnited was the only team to enjoy a perfect map run of nine wins to zero, followed closely by OpTic Gaming, Team EnVyUs and Rise Nation who conceded just one map apiece. Infused won the battle of the continents by besting Lethal Gaming and Mindfreak in a three-way tiebreaker, joining fellow UK and Ireland contingents Splyce, Epsilon and Fnatic. Allegiance scraped through Group E at the expense of Red Reserve despite the same match and map win rates, owing qualification to victory over Red earlier in the tournament. The event has not been without controversy. An issue with Zed's controller led to Elevate stopping play on their accord, ultimately leading to their forfeit against Mindfreak Black. Read the full story here. Keep it for all the action, results as it breaks tomorrow on day 3. Full bracket below.
