The Millenium Call of Duty team is back with a bang as they bring one of Europe’s greatest ever players out of retirement.
The French organization picked up the British Infused Call of Duty team during Infinite Warfare for a reported $50,000, but the squad led by Mark ‘MarkyB’ Bryceland failed to make any kind of impact.
Relegated from the CWL Global Pro League and unable to look even a threat during European events, it was revealed at the end of the season that Shea ‘Qwiker’ Sweeney and Tom ‘Moose’ Handley had been released.
Dave ‘Urban’ Marsh played alongside both MarkyB and Adam ‘Peatie’ Peate during the Black Ops III season under Infused, and his return comes as no surprise after Red Reserve announced their lineup, leaving him a free-agent.
The return of Thomas ‘Gunshy’ Jones will come as a welcome surprise to many, however, after the Welshman quit during the Advanced Warfare season after an attempt by TCM Gaming to compete in North America during the MLG Pro League.
Known as one of Europe’s greatest ever players, his experience dates back to the first competitive Call of Duty event in Europe back at XL4 in 2008, placing third with Reason Gaming.
The announcement of the squad comes just days before Sledgehammer Games release Call of Duty WWII.
MarkyB gave a quote to the Millenium website.
“We have already teamed up with these two players by the past, we know that they will bring so much to the collective and we are glad to get them back. GunShy is a veteran, but above all he’s one of the most titled player in Europe. Urban is, for his part, a rough diamond known for his skills and intelligence in the game.”
