Controversial IRL (in real life) streamer ICE_POSEIDON has hit out at NRG Esports owner Andy Miller for leaking a private conversation.
ICE_POSEIDON streams for a living out on the streets of Los Angeles via YouTube, and is regularly involved in various shenanigans that usually ends up with him getting in trouble.
One of his most high profile incidents involved being thrown off a plane after a viewer called in a fake bomb threat, which resulted in ICE being banned from Twitch for failing to hide his location appropriately.
Although he now focuses on IRL streams, ICE is also a big gamer and has previously had an affiliation with NRG Esports as one of their content creators.
The North American based organization hosts a number of high profile teams, including running the San Francisco Shock franchise in the Overwatch League. They've also got a number of celebrity investors including Shaquille O'Neal, Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez and Marshawn Lynch.
One of the biggest business names involved is Andy Miller, who's one of the co-owners of the Sacremento Kings NBA team. He helped create NRG alongside Kings business partner, Mark Mastrov.
ICE_POSEIDON's relationship with NRG and Andy Miller appears to have soured after the NRG CEO leaked a DM conversation that showed ICE looking for $2,000 due to a miscommunication over a deal with Liveme.
"Hey Andy, you guys were only supposed to take 20% of 30k not 40k. 10k of the budget LiveME gave me was for production, bBenty and Jamie told me you would be taking 6K of the 40,000.
Will you please send me my $2000 soon."
The decision by Andy Miller to leak this DM has caused quite a bit of controversy, with ICE hitting out with a subtweet on Twitter to express his disappointment.
