It might already be one of the most popular games on Earth, but people are always looking for improvements and new ideas for Fortnite Battle Royale.
Released in July 2017, Fortnite has experienced a meteoric rise in popularity thanks to its fast paced and addictive Battle Royale mode.
Available to play for free on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, the “Early Access” version of the game is a rival for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
Due to its popularity, the Epic Games title has already drawn the attention of all sorts of gamers, coders, designers and content creators.
But it isn't perfect, and despite Epic Games' excellent community interaction and support, some members of the community have taken it upon themselves to create their own concepts and ideas for the title.
One example of this comes from DanMak on YouTube, who has created a first person concept for the game which is currently only available in third person.
And it looks incredible:
This is not the first time that fans and players of a battle royale game have wanted to try it out in first person mode over third person.
In PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG), the first person mode was one of the most requested additions to the game and it was finally released as a separate game mode in August.
While first person mode is arguably more difficult that third person, it is widely regarded as the more competitive version of the game in PUBG and is used for most esports events and competitions.
The same could, perhaps, be true for Fortnite. However, with building being such an integral part of Fortnite, it is unclear how first person would work for that particular aspect.
