Like clockwork, the new week will bring with it a new set of challenges for Fortnite Battle Royale players to get their teeth into, and thanks to a leak over at FortniteTracker, you can prepare ahead of time for this weeks set.
Fortnite, specifically the completely free-to-play battle royale mode, has come up with a new model of monetizing their title, by way of ‘battle pass’. For the price of 950 V-bucks (around $10), this pass will give you the ability rank up and earn new customization options and gear.
And of course, each new week there are a new set of challenges, all rewarding players with experience points in the form of shiny golden stars. So if you have your eye on a piece of new gear, completing these challenges will be the most efficient way.
April 16th will mark the start of a new week, and therefore new challenges. FortniteTracker, a website which provides a very handy tool for checking your detailed stats breakdown in game, has leaked exactly what the upcoming challenges will be.
- Deal damage to opponents structures – 0/5000
- Search chests in Haunted Hills – 0/7
- Build structures – 0/250
- Visit different Taco shops in a single match 0/3
- Follow the treasure map found in Moisty Mire (Hard)
- Shotgun eliminations (Hard) – 0/4
- Eliminate opponents in Lucky Landing (Hard) 0/3
According to the site, all the challenges were found in game through searching the date files: “All data sourced from game assets. Data pulled on April 11th, 2018 from Fortnite v3.5.0.”
Once the challenges are released, we will have a full guide on how to complete all of them, including whatever the mysterious treasure map in Moisty Mire entails. In total there will be 4000 experience points up for grabs, the same for each week of season 3.
If you haven’t yet completed all of week 8’s challenges, you can check out our guide for them here. After week 9, it will be the final week of season 3, before season 4 releases.
