A strange floating glitch was caught on stream by Chris 'Parasite' Duarte while playing Hardpoint in the Call of Duty World League 2K Series Tournament on Sunday.
Released on November 3rd, CoD: WWII was one of the most anticipated titles to ever be released in the storied franchise due to finally returning to 'boots on the ground' combat following three years of 'advanced movement.'
The much-awaited in-game mechanic also saw a rejuvenation in the competitive community, with Team Passes for the CWL Dallas Open selling out in record time, along with a massive amount of teams signing up to participate in the first 2K Pro Points Tournament on Sunday, November 12th.
Although a number of problems and glitches have been addressed by Sledgehammer and the development team since launch including the first major patch on November 10th, a slew of different issues continue to be found within the title.
When playing Hardpoint on Ardennes Forest against Jeremy 'StuDyy' Astacio's squad in the CWL 2K, Parasite attempted to take out one of the enemy players, however, witnessed them float across the entire map until the server dropped, ending the game.
At the time of writing, it is unknown if a fix is in place to address the floating glitch or the reason for it occurring in the first place.
In order to keep up with various in-game problems within CoD: WWII, Activision Support has released a 'Known Issues
' list, which will be continuously updated as issues are found and resolved.
