The competitive Call of Duty community enjoyed another night of action as Epsilon and FaZe Clan did battle on Tuesday, February 13th.
European side Epsilon had made it through to the grand final of the CWL Pro League challenge by defeating compatriots Splyce in the same evening, and faced off against FaZe who had taken down UNILAD.
The new online competition was only introduced for the WWII season, and pits the eight teams currently competing in Columbus, Ohio in the Pro League, against the top eight teams from the most recent CWL 2K tournament.
The online tournament on Sunday February 11th was only the second time it has taken place, with eRa beating OpTic Gaming in the grand final of Division A’s competition on Monday, January 29th.
As with the first one, the Sunday matches only progressed the tournament to the semi-final, with the remaining matches being played on Monday, February 12th.
During the matchup, Epsilon player Nathan (also known as Insanitised) pulled off an incredible 1 v 4 clutch, taking down all four members of the FaZe lineup.
Playing on USS Texas, the clutch happened so quickly that the observer watching the match didn’t even have enough time to properly switch to Nathan as he took down all four of his opponents in quick succession.
Unfortunately for the Epsilon players, it wasn’t enough as FaZe Clan ran out winners of the second CWL Pro League Challenge.
