Call of Duty:

The stage is set for Championship Sunday at CWL Anaheim as the two British squads of Epsilon and Splyce fight for a place in the winner bracket final.

Splyce is coming off a Stage Two victory at the CWL Global Pro League playoffs, whilst Epsilon remains the current European champions after winning CWL Birmingham in April.

This heavyweight clash features an intense rivalry with former teammates Josh ‘Joshh’ Shephard and Dillon ‘MadCat’ Daly going head to head once again.

Epsilon had arguably the more difficult draw in the first round of championship winner bracket, facing a slightly under strength eUnited team. Meanwhile, Splyce took down the new look squad of BitterSweet who had enjoyed a 4-0 pool play stage.

We took aside MadCat to talk about his thoughts on facing his old comrade and whether that loss in Birmingham in April was still weighing on his mind.

“That Birmingham event haunted us for a while. We had to win an event to get over that, it wasn’t that big to us, but that kind of smoothed it all away. Now it’s time to get the revenge. If we don’t do it, then wow.”

The discussion also focuses on the team’s critics, who he expects to meet in the final and starting cold in the pool play stage.
