Tyler1’s relationship with Riot has been rocky to say the least. In fact, they previously banned him from the game entirely for being too ‘toxic’, calling him a “jerk”, before deciding that banning the most popular streamer for their game perhaps wasn’t the best idea.

He made his anticipated return to streaming in January of 2018, and since then has mended his relationship with the studio, although that doesn’t stop him from speaking his mind about them.

Twitch / Riot GamesTyler1 was invited to the NA LCS finals, showing he and Riot had made up.

Riot too has tried to make friends, sending the streamer a tailor-made gift for the launch of Season 9, showing that they were at least on somewhat good terms.

Riot pulls April fool’s jokes on League of Legends streamers

For their latest stunt, Riot pranked both tyler1 and fellow LoL streamer imaqtpie, the latter by sending him a questionnaire suggesting that he was a “washed up ADC streamer.

Tyler1’s question was a bit less insulting (they clearly don’t want to get on his bad side again), instead simply asking him which of his cats were his favorite.

After confirming that he loved all his pets equally, tyler1 signed off his response with a quick “fuck you” to Riot, before roasting them for spending all that time making a joke questionnaire for him.

“I’m really glad they have time to pop off some surveys like that,” the streamer said, “these motherfuckers aren’t doing anything else are they?”

Despite being a much kinder gag, tyler1’s response was to be expected, compared to imaqtpie’s more reserved response.

They also trolled Team Liquid streamer TFBlade, with his survey simply reading “Listen buddy”, and then six options ranging from strongly agree to strongly disagree.
