The Red Sparrows pull off insane GTA Online air show and it’s beautiful

Grand Theft Auto has a wide variety of different vehicles for its community to try out and a team of players has come together to create something quite special in GTA Online, pulling off an unbelievable air show that even the Red Arrows would be proud of.

The Red Arrows are more formally known as the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team in the United Kingdom, pulling off some incredible and beautiful air stunts with speed, agility and precision. Now, that same energy has somehow crossed over to GTA.

Rockstar Games are always adding new ways to play in Los Santos and the wider areas on the GTA 5 map, whether it be new cars, bikes, or even helicopters added in frequent content updates. However, the real creativity often comes from those who jump into the game and put such features to good use, and it’s fair to say a team of in-game pilots has done just that.

GTA Online players have been creating some insane air shows in-game.

It’s always a challenge to do something fresh in a game like Grand Theft Auto. There might be so many different options at your disposal, but many players just jump into the game, ride around in their cars and buy houses. Yet, if there was a gap in creativity it has certainly been filled.

Posting their showcase of plane skills to the GTA subreddit on March 18, user Bmancowtan posted: “Ever seen a GTA Airshow?” followed by an incredible piece of footage, showing seven different jets moving in unison with striking colored-smoke coming from their tail ends. The jets are V-65 Molotoks and are available to buy in-game for almost $5 million, so it’s definitely an expensive hobby.

Flashes of blue, red and yellow could be seen in the sky as the septet breezed over the water, with the sun setting just behind. This can be seen in the post below.

GTA’s very own Red Arrows

The group of players call themselves ‘The Red Sparrows’ and often post this sort of stuff to their YouTube channel, with recent videos including air show competitions with in-game cash up for grabs in the rewards, as well as other GTA related content.

The breathtaking video shared with the subreddit, however, was given a huge nod by other members of the community, too, which also joined in with comments in the Reddit thread. A user posted: “Finally a fresh take on this game! Love it.” While another said: “I have not said holy sh*t about this game in a long time – whoah.”

Will you try to make your own air show next time the sun sets in GTA Online? It’s certainly a challenge.

Another comment that’s well worth a mention came from Temporary_Cold, who joked: “The ocean, the sunset, The inspiring teamwork, the poetic double helix signifying life’s profundity. It’s almost enough to bring a tear of j.. Whooooshh as 3 oppressor griefers whiz into frame.

With the Reddit post surging in popularity and their YouTube channel drawing thousands of views, there’s no doubt we’ll see more from this team of players in the future.
