Rockstar Games are handing out some free content to ring in the new year across GTA Online. So, here’s how you can get your hands on it.

While GTA V and the subsequent GTA Online portion of things may be over six years old, players still flock to Los Santos to wreak havoc on the online streets and rack up some cash through missions and bounties.

As the years have gone on, Rockstar Games have kept the game in-line with real-life events, providing content based on the season or even holiday. With Christmas just in the rearview mirror, players were treated to Los Santos being filled with snow and having similar decorations around the map. Yet, with the New Year and a start of a new decade almost here, there are similar celebrations in store.

To celebrate the new year, the Los Santos snow has been kept around – meaning you can drift your car and watch the icy snow go flying for a few days more.

There are also free rewards up for grabs in the form of two bodysuits – the Yellow Reindeer Lights and Neon Festive Lights – as well as a care package that contains a Fireworks Launcher, twenty round of Firework ammunition, snacks, and armor.

To get your hands on these free items, all you have to do is log on and play for a few moments over the new year period. The bodysuits, though, will only be available on specific. To get the Yellow Reindeer Lights, you must play on New Year’s eve. To get the Neon Festive Lights, a session of GTA Online is in order on New Year’s day.

They might be the only free rewards that you can grab in GTA Online, but until the end of January 1st, the highly sought after weaponized version of the Dewbauchee JB 700W car will also be available.

Once the holiday celebrations are over, Rockstar will undoubtedly have some brand new updates up their sleeve so you can spend your hard-earned GTA Online cash. So, don’t go and blow it all in the Diamond Casino just yet.
