GTA Online’s Diamond Casino opens next week, new DLC details

For those ready to get their gamble on in GTA Online, you won’t have to wait much longer. The Diamond Casino and Resort will be opening next week in Los Santos.

Rockstar Games uploaded a new trailer to their YouTube channel on July 18 and showcased what players can expect to see with the new update including penthouse suites, casino games, news cars and of course, a plethora of new accessories.

According to Rockstar Newswire, some of the card games available using chips will be three card poker, blackjack and roulette. Players can also play slot machines and even bet on virtual horse races.

Players can also gain access to a customizable “Master Penthouse”  that provides the owner with VIP Membership status that includes access to VIP lounges, high-limit tables, and an assortment of other services with the penthouse phone.

As for the story, once the player has access to the Master Penthouse, they will become a member of The Diamond family. From there, the player will need to help property owner Tao Cheng and Diamond staff “protect their investment from the clutches of a corrupt family of Texan petrochemical magnates in a series of all new co-operative missions.”

Completing each mission will reward the player with special awards and once the story thread is completed, the player will receive a new vehicle free of charge.

Another way for players to earn extra cash and chips at the casino is to do missions by calling Diamond’s Head of Operations, Agatha Baker.

Rockstar is also extending last week’s stunt race bonuses until July 24. So players should try to rack up as many rewards as they can to provide them with an advantage once the Diamond Casino opens.
