GTA Online update: New Lucky Wheel bike, 2x payouts & Twitch Prime rewards

Scott Robertson

Rockstar Games have released the latest content update for GTA Online, which lets players at the Diamond Casino spin for a unique vehicle, earn double cash and experience on a myriad of activities, and take advantage of numerous discounts with Twitch Prime.

While headlines about rumors and leaks surrounding GTA 6 continue to dominate games media, Rockstar are quietly working away on delivering more free content to its GTA Online player-base.

In the form of weekly updates, the developers deliver fresh content on a regular basis, giving players new vehicles and items, rewards, and new ways to build their vast criminal empire.

In their January 30 update, Rockstar added a unique vehicle to its Lucky Wheel spin, doubled the rewards for multiple activities and games, and implemented discounts on vehicles and properties, with extra discounts available for Twitch Prime members.

New Lucky Wheel bike: Pegassi Oppressor

Have you ever been driving around Los Santos in GTA Online only to see a motorcycle fly above you at breakneck speed? Well, Rockstar is giving the Diamond Casino patrons a chance to win the Oppressor for themselves.

The flying bike from Pegassi is now available as a Lucky Wheel reward. Players get only one spin per day, but even if you don’t get the bike, you can still win cash, RP, clothing, or something else.

The Oppressor was introduced in the Gunrunning update, and is available for purchase from the Warstock Cache & Carry for a cool $3.5 million.

That drops to $2.65 million if you’ve completed the mission Work Dispute, which requires the Mobile Operations Center, so the Oppressor is going to cost a lot even with the discount.

It comes with a front-mounted Machine gun, but that can be upgraded to Rockets with the vehicle workshop inside a Mobile Operations Center or the Mammoth Avenger plane. That workshop is necessary to make any upgrade to the bike.

Double rewards for multiple activities

More cash, experience, and Rockstar Points for completing activities? Sounds like a good deal.

Rockstar have doubled their rewards in the past, but this update is unique in regards to the sheer volume of activities that are getting 2x the payout.

Target Assault Races are getting double payouts for the next week, Motor Wars and the Tron-themed Deadline activities are getting double GTA$ and RP, and all VIP/CEO Work and Challenges are paying double as well.

In addition, Twitch Prime members who’ve connected their accounts also get extra deals. They can acquire Pixel Pete’s Aracade property in Paleto for free via a rebate, but it’s worth pointing out that Pixel Pete’s is still available for free without the rebate on the Twitch Prime loot page. The Arcade is necessary for the Diamond Casino heist.

Prime users also get 80% off the Buckingham Pyro and the Rhino Tank, and an additional 10% off the list of vehicles above.
