When will the casino open – release time?

The update is live across PC, Xbox and PS4, meaning the Grand Theft Auto Casino is open right now. It opened July 23, 1am PT, 4am ET and 10am BST.

Where is the casino located?

The Diamond Casino Resort is located Vinewood Park Drive in East Vinewood. It is situated just north-west of the Vinewood Racetrack.

On a more broad sense it can be found in the north-eastern upper corner of Los Santos.

GTA Online Diamond Casino reveal trailer

Before you jump into Grand Theft Auto Online in search of the Diamond Casino Resort, it’s definitely worth taking a few moments to watch the official grand opening video.

It shows a number of games that are now available to play, some glimpses at the interior, and more. Check it out.

What vehicles have been added?

As FoxySnaps has leaked there are 22 new vehicles that have been added to GTA V online as part of the casino update. However, only six of these are currently available – they are as follows:

  • Annis S80RR – $2,575,000
  • Truffade Thrax – $2,325,000
  • Enus Paragon R – $905,000
  • Weeny Issi Sport – $897,00
  • Vapid Caracara 4X4 – $875,000
  • Obey 8F Drafter – $718,000

The more expensive Annis S80RR has slightly better stats than the Truffade Thrax. Whether this translates to performance in GTA racing remains to be seen, though.

Design your own penthouse

If you thought apartments were luxury already in GTA 5, wait until you see the penthouses up for sales at the Diamond Casino Resort.

They come in four variations by default:

  • Crash Pad: $1,500,000
  • Party Penthouse: $3,776,500
  • High Roller: $6,533,500
  • Design your own: $1,500,000+

You have to be a baller in GTA 5 if you’re to afford one of these luxury penthouses. Fortunately, it seems everyone in Los Santos is rich.

Design your own penthouse in the GTA 5 Casino – If you have the money of course…

In the design your own section, you can customize absolutely everything from extra rooms, colors and patterns. By default you start with the master penthouse and can purchase extras from there.

If you purchase absolutely everything with the most expensive color and patterns then it will come to $6,533,500 – the same as the High Roller package.

We recommend at the very least you include a garage with your penthouse for a cool $900,000 as let’s be honest what kind of GTA player wouldn’t need space for their $2,000,000+ super car.

The official Diamond Casino and Resort website says it best: “Home just doesn’t feel like home unless you have ten hypercars in a well-guarded basement.”

What casino games are there?

There are currently four casino games for you to gamble all your money away on.

  • Blackjack
  • Roulette
  • Slot machines
  • Three Card Poker

The thought of competing in huge poker tournaments in the GTA universe remains a pipe dream for the moment, but it looks like players definitely have a lot to dig through.
