Fans waiting for Grand Theft Auto 6 will undoubtedly be excited by the latest message from Take-Two Interactive – the parent company of the acclaimed Rockstar Games.

It’s hard to remember a game ever being as highly anticipated as the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto series – despite the fact that no concrete announcements have even been made.

February 6 saw Take-Two’s annual investor call, in which they discuss the company’s performance over the past year, as well as the future direction investors can expect the company to take.

Rockstar Games are just one of the massive publishers that work under Take-Two.

For obvious reasons, they remain vague in their discussions, but it still provides fans with an insight of what to expect.

Among other notable announcements, Take-Two confirmed that there will be multiple releases from the company’s most significant franchises.

While this could refer to a host of game series, including Borderlands, Red Dead, Bully or their 2K franchises, it’s hard to imagine there won’t be a Grand Theft Auto release at any point in the next 5 years.

Both Borderlands and Red Dead have received installments in the last couple of years, while Grand Theft Auto V came out in 2013.

Gearbox/Rockstar Games
Borderlands 3 released in 2019, while RDR2 came out in October 2018.

We are going to share more about the pipeline,” said Karl Slatoff, Take-Two’s President. “We’re hoping to share a lot more information with you over the coming months regarding that.”

Despite the news that more information will be coming our way over the next few months, Strauss Zelnick, Take-Two’s Chairman, emphasized the continued support their biggest titles will be receiving, explicitly naming Borderlands 3 and Grand Theft Auto Online.

He also confirmed that their policy to release a AAA game every year remains in place, but there has been no suggestion as to what that title will be. Millions will have their fingers crossed for another Grand Theft Auto title.

The final major talking point was regarding Dan Houser’s departure from Rockstar Games.

While many took this to be bad news for the potential of a Grand Theft Auto game, Take-Two’s senior figures insisted that this will not affect the work of Rockstar, and that all games “in the pipeline” will progress as normal.

Overall, the investor-call is likely to put the community’s excitement into overdrive. The full transcript is available here.

Rockstar Games have got a Grand Theft Auto Online update that plays into Black Friday with a whole host of sales for vehicles, businesses, and buildings.

GTA Online’s weekly updates are always something to look forward to for fans, as Rockstar Games rolls out some bonuses so that players can build up their Maze Bank accounts.

The bonuses, both for cash and RP, are the big attention grabbers from the updates, but the sales that Rockstar also drops are nothing to be ignored either. You can save quite a lot on a car that you want or a business you want to own.

With Black Friday getting underway in the real world – marking a few days of sales – Rockstar have also joined in the fun with some pretty interesting discounts as well.

Open Wheel races bonuses – 2x Cash & RP

As already noted, the bonuses are the biggest part of the weekly updates, so we’ll start there. This week, starting November 26, is all about Open Wheel Races for double rewards while King of the Hill pays out triple.

The bonuses for Open Wheel races are not limited to one or two select tracks, but you will have to jump into a Rockstar Created race to earn the bonus. The best way to check this is to simply join a race from the pink F1 car icons that are dotted around the map.

If a lobby then decides to vote for a non-Rockstar Created race, simply back out and find a different lobby. You’ll have up to December 9th to earn the bonus rewards.
