Who is Dori in Genshin Impact?
Described as a merchant from Sumeru, Dori is an Electro user who travels around Teyvat trying to shuffle off her rather experimental goods. She knows the art of the deal too, seen bargaining with players with her in-game description.
She loves everything about Mora — as all merchants do — but it’s her Spirit-Warding Lamp that’s her prized possession, including the Jinni inside.
On September 2, 2022, HoYoVerse released an official Character Demo for the merchant that highlights her Business savvy personality, as well as her combat abilities.

Dori abilities in Genshin Impact
Dori’s abilities in Genshin Impact will finally give the Electro element another healer they can rely on. The four-star Claymore user is definitely posed to be an off-field support, deploying her lamp to assist allies on the battlefield.
Her Elemental Skill, Spirit-Warding Lamp: Troubleshooter Cannon, fires a shot at an opponent dealing Electro DMG. The shot then splits into multiple rounds that will track opponents and deal even more Electro DMG.

However, her lamp’s defensive utility, stored in Dori’s Elemental Burst, is much more potent. Dori summons the Jinni within her lamp to connect to a nearby character. This will restore HP based on Dori’s maximum HP, and can also deal damage to nearby enemies.
These two in tandem make Dori a great quick swap support, dealing damage while off the battlefield and keeping her allies alive with plenty of healing.
Dori talents in Genshin Impact
On September 2, 2022, a gameplay video was shared via the official Genshin Impact Twitter account that detailed Dori’s talents in combat. She has two distinct talents, the first is Alcazarzaray’s Exactitude which summons the Jinni from her lamp to “give the client various kinds of aid.”
Her second talent is Jinni which connects the Jinni to a nearby character and continuously restores their HP based on Dori’s HP, and regen energy.
The connected character will also be affected by Electro which means that “when the connecter between the Jinni and the character touches opponents, it will deal one instance of Electro damage to them every 0.4 seconds.”

Dori release date in Genshin Impact
Dori will be a part of Sumeru’s launch and the festivities in Genshin Impact Version 3.0 — but not until the second half of the update. She will feature as a rate-up character on Ganyu and Kokomi’s rerun banners starting September 9, 2022.
Collei and Tighnari will instead feature in the first half as the two first Sumeru characters available to players as they start exploring the region.
