Lion King Trailer
The trailer is a teaser for the all-CGI Lion King remake. It shows the iconic Lion King backdrop with Simba (as a baby) being held aloft in front of the kingdom.
Mufasa can be heard narrating with the renowned Lion King soundtrack playing in the background.

Lion King Cast
Disney have gone all out with the cast for the live action remake. The Lion King cast includes household names such as Donald Glover, Beyonce Knowles-Carter, James Earl Jones, Chiwetel Ejiofor. They will be voicing over the following:
- Simba – Donald Glover
- Nala – Beyonce Knowles-Carter
- Mufasa – James Earl Jones
- Scar – Chiwetel Ejiofor
- Pumbaa – Seth Rogen

Lion King Film Release Date
The trailer finishes by saying “Summer 2019”. However, the description from the official trailer states that the Lion King will open in theatres July 19, 2019.
The original Disney Lion King movie came out June 15, 1994! 24 long years before the live action version but we’re sure it’s worth the wait!
