As the final event for the Gears Pro Circuit season 2, San Diego is a big event for these amateur upcoming teams coming through the open bracket, and reaching pool play is just the first step.

Only 12 teams are guaranteed a pool play spot, with the open bracket featuring another 30+ teams fight for a spot in the open winners bracket.

There is also a losers bracket in open, so teams do get a second chance, but if they want a pool play spot, they will have to go near perfect in the winners side.

With the winners section of the bracket now finished, the four teams making it to pools are now confirmed – Nimbus, Fable, Fable LATAM and Krisis Gaming.

Krisis Gaming – Morality, Sickest, Diligen, RedN9ne, Abolics

Placed in Pool A alongside both OpTic rosters and Simplicity, Krisis have a very tough task when they get into their matches on Saturday, but they looked dominant in open, so could be a potential banana skin team.

Nimbus – Terrence, KilleM, Toti, DemiseiN, TidyWidy

Nimbus land in Pool B with Echo Fox, Rise Nation and Fire N Ice, which will be no easy task either. Rise and Echo Fox are heavy favorites here, so Nimbus will have to beat Fire N Ice and somehow take down one of the two NA juggernauts if they want a shot at finishing top 2 here.

Fable – DFazio, Fanatic, Exhaustted, REPSOLID, Flamsy

DFazio is a player more used to pool play than the open bracket, and it was no surprise that this talented roster made quick work of the winners in open. They will face Ghost Gaming, Worlds Best and Lucent in Pool C, and have a very good chance at finishing top 2 here.

Fable LATAM – Lyrickz, Gordocher, Auttenz, ReLiamSe, Prospect

Just like their North American counterparts, players here will not look out of place in Pool Play. They land in Pool D and will take on Spacestation, Reciprocity and eLevate, making this pool one of the most finely poised as it moves into Saturday.
