New World beta carry over

Amazon Game Studios’ MMO, New World, has proven to be a huge success and players are currently busy enjoying the beta. However, many fans are wondering whether New World beta progress will carry over to the full game.

New World is the latest gaming sensation that is taking the world by storm, with many intrepid explorers trekking through Aeternum Island in search of adventure. While the popular MMO is still in beta, that hasn’t stopped players from delving into what the game has to offer. The current build of New World enables those with access to freely explore, craft, hunt, and take part in PvP battles.

There’s certainly a lot for players to get involved with, but the main bulk of the content will release when the full game launches on August 31, 2021. However, until then, adventurers can learn the ropes and level up their character in the beta. Just like most video game betas, players have been wondering whether New World’s beta progress will carry over to the full release.

New World’s beta has proven incredibly popular.

If you’re one of the many players that have invested a considerable amount of time into the New World beta, then you may be wondering whether your progress carries over to the full game. Well, Amazon Game Studios has outlined that beta progress will not be transferable when the game launches on August 31, 2021.

“After the many improvements and changes we made to New World between Closed Alpha and Beta, we will not be carrying over player progression,” says the developer. “It’s time to start fresh and experience all the changes for yourself!”

Many New World beta players will likely be disappointed by this announcement, but it is a move that will enable everyone to start on a level playing field. Instead, it’s best to treat the beta as a practice run where you can trial different builds, learn weapon mechanics, and get a good feel for your surroundings.
