New Legend Ash joins roster in Apex Legends Season 11

Ash Apex Legends Season 11
Titanfall fans get ready, you can finally play as Ash in Apex Legends.

Ash is back from the dead, well, in Apex Legends at least. After Jack Cooper “killed” her off in Titanfall 2, her Simulacrum body has been put back together to participate in the Apex Games.

Her kit is tailored around tracking enemy squads down and closing the distance with her ultimate. Ash also has stun akin to the Ronin Titan’s Arc Wave ability, which enables her team to fire off deadly rounds to all those caught.

Apex Legends’ fourth map is set on a sunny, tropical island.

A year since Olympus was added into the Apex Legends map pool, a new battlefield has joined the rotation in Season 11.

Storm Point was initially showcased in the launch trailer, featuring sunny beaches and plenty of critters ending Mirage’s holiday swiftly. The new map is home to plenty of dangerous critters, new POIs, and features that aim to counter third-parties.

C.A.R. SMG weapon added in Apex Legends Season 11

CAR SMG details from Apex Legends
The C.A.R SMG was deadly in Titanfall and it has a similar impact in Apex Legends.

Good news, Legends, the C.A.R. SMG has finally released in Apex Legends Season 11. It’s a popular weapon from Titanfall, making it a great addition alongside Ash.

The C.A.R. is “a flexible weapon, that is great choice “for when you’re ready to make a stand and become the last Legend still standing.”

With a unique ammo feature and an incredibly high rate of fire, the C.A.R. is one weapon you’ll want to master in Season 11.

Apex Legends ranked system undergoing KP changes

Apex Legends’ ranked system has received another update in Season 11.

Despite initially shooting down claims of a ranked rework, Apex Legends’ ranked system received a complete overhaul in Season 11, making the climb a little bit easier for those that play for kills.

The big change is you no longer need to win an Apex Legends game to get maximum rank points (RP), as KP is no longer capped at just six kills.

If you get plenty of kills and fall out before confirming the win, you can still get maximum RP (250 points). It’s a pretty significant change and one that will reward aggressive play.

Balance changes expected for other Apex Legends characters

Wattson buff & nerf
Wattson finally received a buff in Apex Legends Season 11

Just like every major update, Respawn has buffed and nerfed a number of weapons. However, the most significant change is to Wattson – the game’s Static Defender. The most notable changes are the increased damage on her Fences, while her Interception Pylon has been significantly reworked.

Aside from the Wattson buffs, there have also been a number of changes to existing weapons and loot, so make sure you check out the full Season 11 patch notes here.
