North American esports organization Luminosity Gaming have unveiled popular streamer and YouTuber ‘CDNThe3rd’ as the newest member of their content creation team.

With over 1.4 million followers on Twitch and 1.1 million subscribers on YouTube, Ceez, as he’s commonly called, joins LG as one of the biggest and well-known names in the online gaming community.

The move was officially announced on July 5th via a post on the official LG Twitter page.

Included along with it came a YouTube video showing some of the best moments and highlights from Ceez’s live-stream.

Talking about the huge announcement live on his stream, CDN gave some insight as to what factors helped him choose LG above all of the orgs that were interested in him.

A former pro Gears of War player, Ceez has been involved with online gaming and content creation for a very long time, and has seen his popularity continue to rise as he transitioned from playing H1Z1 in years past to Fortnite: Battle Royale, among other games.

In addition to being a permanent participant in the weekly Friday Fortnite competition, the streamer was also recently invited to the E3 gaming convention in Los Angeles, where he competed in the $3M Fortnite Pro-Am Celebrity Charity Tournament.

Ceez’s abilities in Fortnite have also left the door open on the possibility of him competing for the org in future esports events. LG currently do have a pro Fortnite player – SypherPK – but have not yet officially announced a set pro roster.

The entirety of LG’s announcement can be read below, or on their website here.

We are so excited to finally announce the addition of CDNThe3rd also known as Ceez to Luminosity Gaming.  He will be streaming, creating content, and may even be competing in various games such as Fortnite.

Hailing from New Jersey, Ceez is a popular streamer on Twitch with over 1.4 million followers and 26 million views.  He also creates entertaining content on YouTube amassing over 1.1 million subscribers and over 90 million video views.  He started uploading in 2010 beginning with DayZ before moving onto H1Z1 as a professional player.  He now plays Fortnite mainly but will also switch it up from time to time, playing various games.

For season 3 of Fortnite, Epic Games played homage to CDNThe3rd by introducing the ‘Positivity’ Emoticon which includes the description of  ‘Have a phenomenal gaming experience,’ which is a term that can typically be heard throughout the duration of CDNThe3rd’s stream, along with the “[+]” logo.
