Users in Europe and North America are reporting an outage on PlayStation Network on November 2, which seems to be affecting lots of players trying to play the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
If you are trying to play games such as Modern Warfare online on November 2, it is possible that you may experience some difficulties, with thousands of users reporting a crash with the service.
It seems as if Sony are aware of the problem, however, as their Network Service Status website has also indicated that users may face challenges in gaming online.
The status website states that their engineers are currently working for a fix for the online servers and that it will likely be fixed soon.
"You may have some difficulty launching games, applications, or online features. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible."

Many PlayStation players have expressed their frustration with the Network's crash, highlighting their failure to log-in or access some online features.

PlayStation Network's issues seem to have impacted players across multiple titles, with users reporting problems with Modern Warfare, Apex Legends, Destiny and more.
Website DownDetector, which allows users to report crashes, has also seen a massive spike in reports for PSN users at around 11 AM EST / 4 PM BST.
