Arriving shortly after GTA 3, Vice City was a bold step for the series, but one that paid off immensely. The game replaced the grey, grimy streets of Liberty City with a colorful and glitzy take on 80s Miami. Vice City was the ultimate playground for chaos, and this was even more apparent when using the GTA Vice City cheats.
With a remaster of GTA Vice City now available, it’s the perfect time to reacquaint yourself with cheats that make Tommy Vercetti’s life even more exciting. A word of warning, though – using cheats will prevent players from earning achievements and trophies.
It’s also worth noting that not every cheat will work, as confirmed by producer Rich Rosado in an interview with USA Today (via GLHF).
“We actually had to remove a couple for technical reasons, certain things that didn’t play well in the Unreal base.”
“But that’s actually where I’ll leave it. There’s some fun with discovery. I’m not saying plus or minus, but I’d rather not just go right on the nose before the release of the game and go straight to the end credits.”
